Have you heard about George Lucas' new blockbuster film about the Tuskegee Airman? Come on out to the Douglas Center for Environmental Education's Open House. Feb. 18th at 1:30pm and learn more about the lives and legacy of these real American heroes.  The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African American combat pilots in the United States Air Force. Although they suffered greatly from racism, discrimination and Jim Crow laws, their bravery in combat helped win World War II for the Allies.  The Miller Historical Society will be giving an interactive presentation "The Real Red Tails, America's Forgotten Black Heroes."

Bring the whole family and explore a fascinating chapter of American history while spending fun and informative afternoon in the dunes.
